6 隠家拉麵工場 Kakurega Ramen Factory
This is an odd and funny restaurant if you can even call it that. It's more like a food stall with construction board places around it. It’s in a non descripting plaza with lots of tiny store. And then, this is a ramen shop which specialized in Tsukemen (dipping noodles in sauce). The menu is very simple and there are clear instructions on how to eat the noodles. Noodles are cooked perfectly, with an al dente bounce to it.
7 維記咖啡粉麵 Wai Kee Noodle Cafe
The most representing restaurant in Sham Sui Po district, Wai Kee’s iconic pork liver and beef noodle is unhealthy but its taste will never let you down.
8 劉森記麵家 Lau Sum Kee Noodle
Lau Sum Kee Noodle is one of the few places in Hong Kong that still uses the traditional bamboo rod to press the noodle dough before cutting and cooking.
9 九龍餐室 Kowloon Cafe
The most famous cuisine in Kowloon Cafe was the pineapple bun with Butter. Although it was named “pineapple”, the bun was not made with any pineapple. It was called pineapple bun, due to its crunchy coating was (somehow) looked like the exocarp of a pineapple.
10 明將迴轉壽司餐廳Ming General Japanese Sushi Restaurant
Amazing restaurant in Sham Shui Po! The sushi is extremely bad and not fresh but lots of people come. There’s always a line but the wait is usually under 30 minutes. Nonpeak hours are 3pm-5pm.
